Escadrille was born of Georges Mayeux’s dream of creating excellent footwear inspired by the humble espadrille. Meeting Elise in 2016 was the deciding factor. Escadrille took off. Elise, an entrepreneur through and through, got her cousin Florence involved in creating the brand. They shared the ambition of making Escadrille the iconic espadrille brand by recreating the product with a focus on elegance, comfort, and quality. They enthusiastically threw themselves into the design of a new collection.
