Boglioli began as a family-run business in 1974 in Brescia, Italy, built on four generations of tailoring expertise. During Pitti Uomo in 1987, the brand debuted its first collection. However, Boglioli first gained international attention in 2000 with its K-Jacket, a deconstructed cashmere jacket with a vintage feel distinguished by washed-out colors obtained through the garment-dying process. The name of this technique comes from the way the dye is applied to the garment only after it has been stitched, a completely novel and unheard-of method in the industry.
