Guccio Gucci founded his brand in 1921. In early of the 2015, Alessandro Michele became the creative director of the brand. He uses floral and animal prints, lavish decor, and catchy accessories weaving traditional Gucci symbols: GG monogram, red and green Web stripes, Flora print, and Horsebit stirrup buckle. Among the brand's bestsellers are original fur-trimmed clogs, organza dresses with bow prints, embroidered bombers, and mules with a steady heel.
Guccio Gucci founded the company with almost a century of Florence's history – the Italian leather craft keeper. His workshop specialized in leather goods for riding – saddles, boots, gloves, and bags. Later, the entrepreneur decided to expand the range of clothing and luggage: the first Gucci handbags began to be produced in 1937, and a year later, the first boutique of the brand was opened in Rome.
